Dr. Shin earned her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she received Dr. Thomas and Arlene Connolly & Family Scholarship and was awarded an Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for excellence in her restorative works. Her dedication to restoring teeth subsequently led to her interest in the field of endodontics, which is at the forefront of saving teeth and relieving patients of acute dental pain. Dr. Shin continued her education at Columbia University to complete Endodontics Residency. Her clinical research focused on surgical management of teeth with cemental tears and won the Resident Award at the AAE Annual Meeting.

Dr. Shin is a board eligible endodontist and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the New York City Dental Society. Dr. Shin strives to take a compassionate and patient-centered approach to provide quality endodontic care to her patients. Outside office, she enjoys fine dining, Broadway musicals, and spending time with her family, especially her two sons.
